Although scientists aren’t sure just how massage therapy might help alleviate low back pain, it’s thought that massage may thwart pain signals sent to the brain, stimulate the brain’s release of pain-reducing chemicals, and/or bring about beneficial changes in the body.

Couples Massage

One of the most popular massage services at this present moment of time. Two people are massaged in the same room, at the same time, by two Massage Moghuls. It can be a husband and wife, girlfriend and boyfriend, same-sex partners, or even mums and daughters sometimes or best friends. This is a service where you can relax together.

Deep Tissue Massage

is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders. Some of the same strokes are used as classic Swedish massage but the movement is slower and the pressure is deeper and concentrated on areas of tension and pain. Deep Tissue Massage is especially popular with sports men and women

Holistic Massage

Benefits the mind, body and spirit. Massage relaxes taut muscles, aids lymphatic drainage, releases toxins and benefits the “whole” in many other positive ways. Physical and emotional stress can be reduced through therapeutic touch and a myriad of other restrictive problems can also be alleviated.

Indian Head Massage

Works on areas affected by mental and emotional stress. In western culture today we spend much of our time in our heads, so this treatment can really help to calm the mind and is surprisingly deeply relaxing. Working with a firm and gentle rhythm it helps to relieve muscular discomfort and tension as well as calming the spirit and aiding relaxation, it also improves circulation in the head, enhances the senses and promotes clear thinking. Jet Lag Massage

Common jet lag symptoms like daytime sleepiness, insomnia, disorientation, difficulty concentrating, slowed reflexes, indigestion and irritability can be alleviated by applying specially designed massage techniques to your hands, ears and foot.

Lomi Lomi Massage

Also called ‘temple-style’ Lomi is a traditional massage from Hawaii, in ancient times performed in temples for deep physical and spiritual healing. During the training, principles of attentiveness, love and respect are emphasized. The arms of the practitioner sweep over the entire body in long and continuous movements to the rhythm of the music, creating a continuous flow and rhythm to cleanse, vitalise and activate innate healing properties, memories and wisdom held within the body, the mind and the spirit in order to achieve a deep sense of balance and harmony.

Lymphatic Drainage

The lymphatic system is responsible for helping fluid and waste leave the body and for regulating the immune system. When the lymphatic system becomes blocked, fluid builds up and stagnates, causing the entire system to become toxic, making us feel sluggish and more susceptible to viral or contagious diseases. By stimulating this system through massage, it works more efficiently, which in turn boosts the immune system, clears blockages, eliminates toxins, transports nutrients to cells and increases the metabolism.

Reflexology

We use special thumb and finger techniques to work on small areas, or reflexes, on the feet. These reflex areas are connected to different part of the body, so that in working overall the reflexes on the feet you are in fact affecting the entire body. The main benefit of reflexology is relaxation, but it also improves the blood supply and the functioning of nerve impulses.
